In March 2024, six people from the Valley of Coixtlahuaca, belonging to the Chocholteca Nation, visited the Ethnological Museum of Berlin to reunite with the Lienzo Coixtlahuaca II, 127 years after it left Mexico for Germany.
This exhibition emerges from that encounter—from the desire to learn more about the Lienzo and the people who embody it.
